Excellent - a much needed resource... I really liked the critical approaches and the poem-by-poem analysis. Really useful for students... There are no other study guides available for this particular collection of poems, so the notes are an extremely useful starting place, or revision tool for students... [The resource] offers appropriate analysis with literary terminology that is suitable for this level of study... It's really well researched and thorough in approach. I will be recommending that we purchase a copy for school.
I am thoroughly impressed with this resource. It is truly excellent and, in every sense, ‘comprehensive’... I love the detail this resource provides. This guide leaves no stone unturned in its detailed and considered exploration of Owen’s poetry. The style of writing is excellent and offers a perfect level of aspiration for students. It perfectly demonstrates how to integrate all the assessment objectives. This resource is truly excellent – the author has done a magnificent job... Teachers can use this resource in two ways – to help them to teach the poetry and for students to revise from – this resource would work perfectly for both of these jobs. Students could pick up this guide and the teacher would have the peace of mind of knowing the content is top level and second-to-none... This is a beautiful resource and is an absolutely pleasure to read. I honestly cannot recommend this resource enough.
