What do teachers say about this resource? (8315)
An excellent resource... It was a breath of fresh air... I particularly liked that it was up to date regarding sensitive issues... There were also extension activities, thus allowing differentiation... It enhances learning by providing such a variety of fun but educational activities that even the most reluctant learner is likely to become engaged. Its educational value is to cover the whole text in an ordered manner so that the fun does not take precedence over acquisition of knowledge and skills... The presentation/layout is imaginative... It matches the specification very well leaving no part of the play unaddressed.
A well-structured, purposeful, and pedagogically sound resource aimed at guiding students through an analytical essay on An Inspector Calls. It scaffolds the essay-writing process effectively and embeds analytical and evaluative skills in manageable steps... The six steps and clear planning structure help students develop confidence and independence in essay writing... There are prompts for high-level skills (e.g. word-level analysis, form/structure techniques) but also sufficient scaffolding for less confident learners... Helps students internalise key skills such as using quotations, analysing word choices, and understanding dramatic techniques.
