A good and thorough overview of the text and was appropriately aimed at a GCSE level. There were useful sections: a chapter by chapter walkthrough and then a focus on other elements of the text such as characterisation and themes.
The discussion boxes contained useful questions that could be developed and used in class quite easily.
In terms of its content, its value lies in the support that it offers both the pupil and the teacher who might not be familiar with the text. It does offer a comprehensive and thorough guide to the novel, and picks up a number of elements that would allow pupils to access the highest grade in response to questions on this text.
