What do teachers say about this resource? (6719)
A thorough and engaging resource. Wish I’d seen this before I started teaching the text this year! Each chapter is summarised, then the key themes/characters are discussed... Followed by a series of discussion points and sometimes a writing task, allowing pupils to engage more personally with the text. The genre convention section is also very useful, as is the section on form/structure and the section on Literary Approaches.
An excellent comprehensive resource. It was well presented and included some interesting ideas which would provide useful teaching resources. It also successfully addressed the AOs of the new A level specification very well, particularly in terms of Context (AO3) and Literary Response (AO5).
