A very comprehensive guide to Frankenstein that clearly meets the requirements of the new GCSE. It has clearly been written by someone who has an excellent knowledge of, and enthusiasm for, the text... As an experienced teacher who has taught this novel before, I felt that it enhanced my own learning, never mind that of my students. This is such a well-organised and detailed resource that it would enable all teachers to teach the novel exceptionally well regardless of whether or not they have taught the text before... I cannot think of anything that would enhance this resource – it is amazing!
The resource is informative, comprehensive and breaks down all the particular areas required for analysis. Furthermore, it ensures to stretch and challenge as well as cover all areas for lower ability students.
I liked the fact that language, form structure, character analysis as well as a general summary and analysis of each chapter has been included.
