I am extremely impressed by this resource and believe it is exceptional: the layout is clear and concise, the content is stimulating and the presentation is brilliant - I would have no hesitation in recommending this resource!
Brilliantly imaginative selection of poems and exciting activities. I love the poems. This is a wonderful and valuable chance for pupils to encounter poetry in translation (and so widen their literary experience) as opportunities for doing so are limited at GCSE.
This pack has lots of excellent ideas and resources and it certainly has been a pleasure to review... Stimulating and often inventive... I admire the breadth as well as the depth of the materials provided here.
Very comprehensive with a wide range of poetry and clearly set out. Clearly defined sections with several poems in each. Good clear worksheets with interesting questions. The SATs style paper at the end is also useful. Very good for helping students get into the habit of answering SATs style questions. The introductions to each type of poetry are comprehensive and I think would give students a solid grounding in poetry. Very clear and easy to use. The worksheets are particularly student friendly.
My compliments to the author - this is a great resource. It also provides a good background to poetry before beginning the GCSE syllabus.
The resource offers excellent cross curricula links with ICT, Citizenship, Geography and History. Beautifully put together for ease of access. Visually it is sound and would be for pupils too.
Would engage pupils through new topics and types of poetry. If shared with pupils in aims and objectives, it is easy for pupils to track their own progress in terms of skills which they are learning.
An attractively presented, substantial and adaptable resource.
I thought the layout and presentation was excellent.
