What do teachers say about this resource? (12416)
An excellent, detailed and relevant resource with many useful and varied activities for pupils. It covers many aspects including language, Elizabethan context, imagery and structure. The analysis and commentary are extremely useful and make life so much easier for the teacher.. Designed to engage pupils and deepen their understanding. I liked the prompt questions for pupils which point out ambiguity and invite them to form their own opinions.
A very thorough and well-researched resource that has been written by someone who really knows the play inside out. The critical references towards the back of the resource are also really helpful to start engaging pupils with AO3. The activities are excellent. Thank you for developing a detailed and comprehensive guide to the play.
The educational value, for me, is really the interactivity specifically with the tasks which promote drama and theatricality - it helps to bring this Shakespearean comedy to life.
Has a lot of complicated ideas that will catch a KS5 group's attention. The fact that the study sections of the resource are effectively split into Structure, Purpose, Theatrical Qualities, and Language, is a great selling point... It is unfussy and lays out the main focus points for analysis.
