What do teachers say about this resource? (11781)
I would definitely buy it – it is rare to come across a resource that I feel would be genuinely appreciated by pupils. I think that this is a fantastic resource and will be really valued by students to use as independent revision, or even in class at the end of the topic or before the exam. I also really like the fact that the tasks are very much based around the style of the exam, and so pupils will feel like they are getting useful information whilst also improving their exam skills. I like the fact that it is divided up into sections which repeat in every subtopic so that it becomes familiar to students as they are revising. I also like the exam-style tasks and the fact that so much of the information is relevant to the target language society, which is essential for the exam. I love the versatility and the fact that it could be used both independently and in class. Students often find it really hard to revise for the speaking exam and having this would give them a lot more confidence in being able to identify key data which they could mention when discussing the photocard.
Overall, I love the resource as it has lots of great texts and exercises for A level students to practise the language needed to succeed in their Spanish exams. I absolutely love the concept of having a summary of each topic on two extended pages (one for the content/information and the other one for exercises) and it can be used by teachers in many ways, as a revision, for classwork/cover or as homework. I like also the use of advanced language/vocabulary in context, such as “proliferar”, “en lo que a mi me concierne”, “hacer hincapi en …” etc.
