I really liked the self-assess tick list at the start of the resource – this element was fantastic.
This resource enables learners to put into practice the strategies and techniques acquired throughout their lessons, but also provides structure and guidance on how to achieve the best outcome.

This is an effective and useful resource for both teachers and pupils. The vocabulary in the reading texts reflect that of the new AQA specification and there is a good variety of question types which ensure that pupils are well-prepared and practised on completion of these practice papers. Given the limited availability of specimen and past paper materials, many of which must be reserved for mock exams, this resource fills a much-needed gap.
I like that the mark schemes (for both reading and translation) are clear and modelled closely on the AQA requirements. The variety of topics in the papers reflects the full range of themes in the AQA specification.
The visual similarity to the real exam is important for supporting pupil familiarity - the layout is user friendly.
Overall, I thought this was a very good resource and provides a wide range of reading questions on all the topics. This resource enhances learning by testing pupils on the syllabus they have learnt for this new exam. I particularly liked the question on Omar Sy (Page 9) a, because most pupils have heard of him if they’ve watched LUPIN and b) it was a very clear test of tense recognition. I also thought they covered Influencers and technology well too and that they have stopped asking questions about watching TV which teenagers don’t anymore. These types of resources will prove invaluable as there are no past papers yet and only SAMs for teachers to use.

I think this is a well structured and highly relevant set of listening comprehension papers that reflect the new GCSE specification accurately. The questions are clear and there is good coverage of the themes and vocabulary from the specification. It's especially helpful in offering pupils the opportunity to practise in exam conditions, which is essential given the limited availability of new spec materials.
The layout is clean and visually similar to the actual AQA exam materials which is great for familiarisation. The inclusion of transcripts is useful for follow-up activities and the layout of the different topics and where they feature in the paper supports teacher planning.
The resource aligns perfectly with the AQA specification. It uses the appropriate themes and vocabulary and the format of the questions mirrors that of the materials released by AQA so far. The inclusion of dictation supports the new specification requirements. The language used in the transcripts and the questions strike a balance between accessibility and challenge.

I love how the exercises reflect well the questioning (with instructions in English) , level of difficulty and type of exercises as per the new SAMS
I think that it offers students plenty of opportunities to gain confidence tackling the writing element of their GCSE French AQA exams.
It reflects well the new style of the exams, with a great choice of some of the themes to be studied by the students.
