Contains a lot of useful detail and practical info and examples which could be used in lessons or for students’ independent work... Student-friendly... The example essays at the end of the pack are useful and the inclusion of the drama set texts for A Level is particularly helpful... Contextual information is really useful... The introductions to critical readings is helpful... The prompt questions are useful... The resource both supports classroom teaching and independent learning. The inclusion of the essays and suggested content is particularly useful. As a whole, it would be helpful to guide students through the collection and then serve as a revision guide.
An excellent resource... Great to have a breadth of example responses and with a clear sense of what makes a high level, and how you could develop a mid / low response. Well organised. Great resources to take into the classroom... Some lovely ideas. Critical reception is very helpful too... Links thoughtfully to exam board criteria and a nice variety of activities to support revision. Top tips are very succinct and practical too... This will be very useful for students embarking on revision - love the activities and games, adding some fun to what can be quite a stressful time. There is also a focus on targeting AOs, and really breaking the skills down which is very helpful. Exam tips are useful too... Clearly a lot of thought went into creating something that is both useful and engaging!
This was a useful resource that was comprehensive in terms of its coverage for both AS and A Level. I liked the way that it contained a mixture of whole-text activities and individual activities on particular poems. There was a range of information that related to the relevant Assessment Outcomes.

This resource enhances learning by being built around a range of activities that encourage independent learning on the part of the pupil. The educational value of this resource lies in its focus on the Assessment Outcomes and the style of questions that candidates taking OCR A or AS Level English Literature will confront. The majority of the resource was devoted to practice on examination style and technique that I thought was very helpful. There was very good focus on examination technique.
