What do teachers say about this resource? (9617)
This resource has been invaluably useful to me as I wasn't sure where to start when delivering the Eduqas specification for the first time... It takes students through the process of writing an exam level answer - so I have been able to use these resources right from the beginning of the course to ease them into more developed answers... It's great for building their confidence and helping them understand the comparative process... It's been brilliant... Really useful for students but also useful for me so that I haven't needed to plan lots of exam style questions! There is also at least one question per genre studied so we were completing them regularly.
This is a really good skills building and practice resource for students... It remains focused on the subject content throughout... It’s great that the audio files are in a pre-prepared playlist, and that the web addresses are short in the pack as this will save lots of time. The songs are appropriately chosen to allow students to experience a wide cross-section of the area of study and this gives good breadth, addressing the specification... The value of this resource is how it guides students through homework activities in order to complete exam-style listening questions... I like this resource - it's a really good idea and I'd like to see versions for the other Areas of Study too!
