What do teachers say about this resource? (9463)
Very good. Question style is very similar to the style used in the A Level exam.
Good range of excerpts across the named artists, good variety of questions, good ten-markers, clear mark schemes.
This helps to prepare students for the style of exam questions they will get. It covers all of the named artists and gives a variety of the styles they may hear.
All the named artists are covered comprehensively. The question styles are similar to those used in the exam. These could be used as exam practice, for mocks or in lessons. They could be broken down into tasks within lessons and could also be used as part of online learning.
The questions are very well thought out and constructed. There is a nice variety of question type reflecting AQA exam methodology... The author demonstrates excellent musical jazz knowledge and the level of questioning at A level standard particularly impresses me - just the right level of difficulty... There is a wide scope of knowledge tested here with a well constructed format... I would most definitely use this resource in my A level curriculum.
