Excellent, loved the style, level and content of each paper! It is excellent practice and an excellent match to the specification. Clear, concise mark schemes and the transcripts are great for additional coverage post examination.
[Would you purchase this resource?]
Absolutely! I think that this is an excellent resource. It follows the specimen paper really well and so gives pupils a very realistic sense of what the exam will feel like. It covers a wide range of different topics (but still relevant to the syllabus). Furthermore, I like that there is a wide range of material on Francophone countries, since this is something which happens a lot in the exam texts but I as a teacher often forget to think about! Finally, this is easy to mark because the mark scheme is very comprehensive, and I could imagine letting my sixth form use it to mark their own papers if necessary – always a bonus!
What do teachers say about this resource? (8711)
A welcome resource for the classroom teacher to use with students in order to give them more practice for component 2 of the examination. It mirrors very well the questions set in the examination by Eduqas for AS level French. I have checked the balance of topics and how they are used in different questions and can say it is very well balanced. It saves the teacher making up resources. It can double up as exam practice for Advanced level too. Be used in the last half term of year 12 to check the level of the students on the AS topics and again in year 13 to further check that not too much from the previous year topics has been forgotten.
The texts for the reading sections are very good
