What do teachers say about this resource? (8464)
Overall I like this resource - it is a detailed resource pack with lots of activities that can be used immediately as an engagement tool, a measure of understanding in a fun way or a nice starter or plenary. There are plenty of activities and they could be tailored with some of the templates provided too. Particular likes: the range of activities, the coverage of different forms of methods so that they can be tailored to the topic (e.g. poetic terms), the versatility of it and how it can be used by a teacher for different purposes that suits them. In terms of both AQA Language, it is helpful as it addresses AO2, AO3 and AO4 questions that feature a focus on methods that have been used by a writer to create a particular effect. For Edexcel Literature, it is useful based on the weighting of AO2 and some questions solely focusing on this, so students need to know terminology.
