A really useful, lower-ability take on a fantastic text that makes it even easier to adapt teaching for weaker learners. There was so much that could be of use in the resource and which could easily be adapted for mixed-ability teaching as well.... It does not spoon-feed with continual sentence stems and model answers; instead it encourages independence of thought with just enough gentle nudging along the way.

A very solid resource – lots of excellent question and answer activities which are beautifully differentiated to the lower-ability students. The PowerPoints are a really useful addition... The instructions for answering the exam-style questions are also incredibly useful. I really liked the introductions to the characters, where the story has been simplified for the lower-ability kids. Sometimes they really struggle with who is who and who represents whom in this novella, and I think that having those in this pack will be a godsend.

A detailed resource which can be used to form lessons as well as revision activities. It has a clear focus on the assessment objectives in the exam, with specific tasks created in order to inform students and teachers... This resource covers the whole novel in enough detail in order to answer exam questions and to gain a rounded understanding of the novel. It simplifies the information whilst still enabling students to challenge themselves and ensure that they have a fully formed understanding.
