A beautifully thought out resource - wish I had written it myself

C Comley, Teacher and Peer Reviewer

The student worksheets include:
❶ A variety of simple starter activities
❷ A short summary and quick quiz for each grouping, offering an at-a-glance reminder of the novel’s main events and a chance to test and maintain comprehension
❸ Up to five activities for each grouping with opportunities for extensions for the more able students

What do teachers say about this resource? (5390)

A beautifully thought out resource - wish I had written it myself.

C Comley, Teacher and Peer Reviewer

I really liked the resource. It is well planned, thorough and allows the class teacher a lot of freedom when planning and delivering the 'Witch Child' lessons. The variety of activities and curriculum focuses was a particularly strong point. This is because the resource centred on all aspects of the curriculum, allowing for breadth and a holistic focus, whilst still heavily focusing on reading.

A Newsham, Teacher and Peer Reviewer

What enhances this resource is the comparative activities which introduce the students to a wider range of texts. The APP grids provided allow the student and the teacher to monitor progress.
