What do teachers say about this resource? (12922)
This resource is excellent to prepare students for A level Lang/Lit but also for teachers who need guidance and the Examiner advice is really helpful. I liked the guidance with Assessment objectives of each Text. The summaries are very informative but the specific frameworks on how to answer are particularly helpful and how to make sure objectives are met. The exemplars are really beneficial. The resource is perfect for enhancing learning of linguistic frameworks but also how the examples from each text can be analysed using the linguistic terms.Model answers are superb and with a variety of levels, students and teachers can learn from the guide. The layout is very good and each stage is explained thoroughly. The photos break up the text well, to ensure that it is not too text heavy. Examples from the Anthology are so usefu,l with terminology explained. This matches the specification perfectly explaining how students should approach each text analysis and hit higher bands with linguistic terms and narrative observations. The model answers showing each level is such a good idea as students find addressing each text comparison quite difficult. Here the weaker answers have examples about how to improve analysis and what terminology to refer to. Most texts have guidance with spoken and written examples. The guidance on each Text in the Anthology is superb with a linguistic list for students. It is an excellent revision resource, and a guide to help the students to approach. The way each text is analysed and pointers about what to include, is superb.
