What do teachers say about this resource? (12346)
Very comprehensive. The style and approach is suitable for A Level. The coverage in each section was appropriate. It is detailed and is clearly targeted at the exam board AOs... I liked the thorough and detailed commentary section... It would be very useful for a teacher in planning lessons. In particular, the commentaries provide lots of ideas about how the poems could be read. [They] are helpful, academically written and thorough... The compare and contrast questions are excellent and encourage students to make links between the poems.
The analysis of each poem is thorough and suitable for students at A Level. The detail is relevant for the student's knowledge and exam requirements and literary terminology is used throughout to encourage students to replicate this in the examination... The literary context is appropriate and relevant and adds further depth and understanding to Keats' life and the poetry... This will be useful for first time teachers of the poems who need additional support with the analysis and poetic terms. It will also be useful for students as a revision resources or to support students who miss learning or content.
Analysis is clear and helpful... There are some really helpful explanations of the meanings of poems and some of the literary criticism and contextual information is interesting and well-written.
