What do teachers say about this resource? (12345)

A really good resource with a range of different activities to accompany the text, both in terms of activities to support particular sections of the text and the text as a whole... The activities consisted of a huge number of different tasks, including a good number of different websites and articles... They were very clearly structured and organised well... The activities were designed to promote and encourage independent learning: they pointed pupils in the right direction, giving them enough support, but leaving them to take the next step and develop their knowledge. I particularly appreciated the range of activities that allowed pupils to develop their knowledge of the different AOs assessed at A Level in relation to this play... This would be a perfect resource to accompany the teaching of the text. It lends itself wonderfully to allow a teacher to give pupils extension tasks, or to use some of the activities in the actual classroom presentation of particular scenes and themes. The activities lend themselves particularly well to prep tasks or to give to pupils in order to prepare for a future lesson to support a flipped learning approach. Equally, the resource could be given to pupils to work through by themselves for extra stretch and challenge... I found reviewing this resource gave me a lot of ideas about how I would re-teach this text, and also other ideas that I could use and apply to different texts... A very comprehensive resource.

A well-researched and detailed resource, covering the key elements of the text. Context is explored in detail through the lens of social, historical, literary, and biographical background. There are a range of resources for pre-, during, and post- teaching. A super resource, particularly for those who are new to teaching the text... Well-organised, with a range of activities for different stages of teaching... Allows teachers to explore most AOs comprehensively. Engaging activities for learners, with a range of core and extension activities to challenge higher prior attainment learners to explore critical reading... Overall a great resource!
