What do teachers say about this resource? (11772)

A really superb activity pack. Well thought through and designed with a great variety of tasks to engage all learners... The starting section which links to the assessment objectives are clear and purposeful. This is an excellent way for students to make links to the work they are doing and the AOs for the examination. The tasks themselves are varied and of a high quality – there is material here to challenge and stimulate learners whilst also supporting students who may not be as confident in their learning... The sections are well broken down to allow for chunked learning and for study to take place at a good pace with each section having specific activities. This will make lesson planning very easy and straightforward. It will also mean lesson time can be split between reading and discussion and then completion of activities to consolidate learning... The whole text tasks again are varied and purposeful and allow students to reflect and revise on their learning... The critical reception tasks are again well thought out and provide further learning and context for students to engage with... Overall, the activities are focused, varied and really excellent. There are some great tasks to encourage students to reflect on their learning and allow them to see how to use their knowledge in an examination situation. This has real educational value and would be useful to students of all abilities. The tasks could easily be set as homework tasks either at the end of the unit or after completing each section.
