[This resource] invites and encourages comparison of the two texts throughout and the activities are all geared towards making links between the two texts.
The grids to compare and contrast the two texts were particularly useful and helpful. I also liked the variety of activities throughout the resource and the reference to paintings and other sources to broaden the appeal of the activities.
It gives in-depth contextual information and analysis of key poems and sections of the play within a comparative structure that would be very beneficial for pupils. It breaks down the two texts into their constituent parts with a comparative focus throughout.

Nice range of activities and insights. Content divides up the comparisons and areas for connection well. Interesting areas for comparison and deeper analysis. I like the use of artwork to enhance understanding too. Good to have different interpretations too. Detailed and thoughtfully structured. Engaging range of points for comparison. Lots of angles to explore, and zooms in on some key poems and areas of the play. Also nice links to wider reading / viewing to enhance the depth of understanding e.g. Tess of the D'Urbervilles. Has answers too which are helpful to both teachers and students! Mix of tasks. Appropriate level of challenge. An interesting resource with lots of key information, and a good breadth of tasks to develop points for comparison.

I particularly liked the thematic approach, and the way poems were grouped together to encourage the study of the collection as an oeuvre, rather than individual poems.

The introductory notes on context are useful and at an appropriate level of detail. A little more on the religious background of 19th century England (and Norway) might have been useful
The range of activities, questions, mindmapping and information will provide good support to A Level students in deepening their knowledge and understanding. These resources would work well in lessons, and some would also make excellent pre-reading homework tasks.
Lots of the activities promote higher order thinking and will stretch and challenge students.
The resource matches the specification well, particularly in its focus on context and consistent comparison. I liked the range of context used, particularly the links to literary context which I feel would particularly benefit more and most able students studying this specification.
