There is an abundance of well chosen texts for each year 2 topic and the progression from vocabulary through grammar points to translation into and from English is excellent. Learn, revise and test. The Occupation and Resistance topic offers a real insight into a dark period of history with excellent texts which make a difficult subject more approachable for this generation of learners. I am sure this [resource] will enhance the knowledge the students have to date of the different topics and it is a perfect way to familiarize them with the translation parts of the end examination .
This is a great resource to practise the translation skill. The fact that each subtopic covers a particular grammar point is really an asset, as the worksheet can be used both during lesson/prep or for some examination practice. I like the ‘Tips for translation, generally speaking’ section, as well as the two other paragraphs about translation skills. The worked example is very useful to train students on how to read and understand a mark scheme and the exam board’s expectations. The amount of grammar boxes over the 15 worksheets [means] learning is well supported -- this resource could be used for independent learning by students.

Excellent resource to practise translation skill, one of the most important one for the examination. I find the resource useful to make the transition from KS4 to KS5 smoother and help students getting the examination skills they need. The scaffold thinking required here will help students having the right structure and tools to master the translation task.
I love the grammar recap per subtopics, very helpful for lesson planning; also I really find useful the tips page, helping students to avoid mistakes and allowing teachers to teach the traps to their students.
The activities within the tips section are excellent for students to be aware of them.
The way tasks are organised per subtopics gives a chance to students to build up knowledge before they start the translation tasks.

The resource matches the specification very well, giving a nice transition from KS4 as well as preparing the students for the translation task. Vocabulary and topics are matching the specification, in a nice but challenging way.
