What do teachers say about this resource? (10284)
I liked this resource... User friendly... I particularly liked the tasks which encouraged discussion and the early introduction of practice examination questions... It enhances learning by providing reassurance to the student that all areas are covered... Its educational value is that it differentiates between students, providing enough material to challenge the more able, while explaining clearly for those who find Shakespeare difficult... It matches the specification excellently... There is an emphasis on quotation which students love... There is an opportunity for cross curricular work with Classical Civilisation.
Excellent, and certainly offers very good value for money... The resource flowed very well... The range of activities is excellent - there is a good variety of individual, pair and group tasks, and the guidance given to teachers regarding how to use the resource is really very helpful indeed. I particularly like the emphasis on active learning, and on using self and peer analysis to help students to improve their own work and on showing them how to perfect examination technique... Most impressive.
This is a very comprehensive study guide, covering all key aspects of the play: plot structure, characterisation, themes, symbolism, and language. This is a useful guide for both teachers and students alike.
I particularly like the concise summaries, which are brief yet provide salient information.
