It is an important resource to have access to as it allows pupils to clearly focus on a particular range of marks. Some pupils will find the 6 and 8 mark answers challenging and this helpfully empowers them to have a go at them and gain valuable marks that otherwise could have been lost. It also ensure that all pupils are confident with 2 mark answers, of which there are plenty. These are so often mis-read or answered incorrectly so the invaluable practice provides a safeguard to this.
The educational value of this resource is that it highlights very clearly to pupils the different command words and their meaning. It is also a very useful teaching tool enabling teachers to focus on a particular amount of marks in a lesson.
