Temporary PHP Developer - £25,000 per annum pro-rata

Job Description

Temporary PHP Programmer required to add some small new features to our existing systems and to fix a number of bugs in our legacy PHP systems, as well as a number of mini-projects. You need to be willing to muck in with technical support, although this isn't the main focus of the role.

There is a good possibility of a further, long-term contract if desired (see PHP Developer)

Minimum Application Requirement

Skill set: PHP | SQL | HTML | CSS | JavaScript | AJAX
GCSE Maths grade B + GCSE English grade B
Notable experience, or some paid experience with qualifications demonstrating coding ability

Additional Desirable Attributes

Paid experience
Experience with ASP
Strong communication skills
A Level grade A or B in Computing or a scientific/technical subject such as Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Economics or Latin
Computing/Programming-related degree or equivalent

We are a highly focused business which creates resources such as worksheets, practice exam papers, teaching notes, digital interactive web teaching resources, etc. for secondary schools and FE colleges.

Based in Greenway Business Centre, we have free parking and our offices back onto playing fields, providing a quiet and green setting. The offices are provided with free chilled water, milk, tea, coffee and biscuits/fruit. We work with hundreds of teachers and freelance authors and expert checkers who are based around the UK and abroad. The core team work from the Bristol office every day.
