I liked the progression through the question styles that you could use depending on the ability level of the students in your group; will save huge amounts of time and ensure you are individualising student provision
What do teachers say about this resource? (12424)
High quality and is written well for its intended target audience. The retrieval and exam questions use vocabulary that students will understand and are suitably set so that all learners will be able to access them. The resource will be excellent for exam revision for both class and homework. The content meets the new specification and will meet the needs of teachers teaching the new specification. I feel that activities are varied and will stretch the students. All assessment points in the new specification are fulfilled. Having used ZigZag resources before I would use these resources. It is well organised and would be useful as a retrieval tool and for setting homework.
Really useful; I would probably use these to check for understanding or as mini-tests throughout the course, as answers are all ready provided. I'm new to teaching this course so really helpful to make sure I'm covering everything. I liked the progression through the question styles that you could use depending on the ability level of the students in your group; will save huge amounts of time and ensure you are individualising student provision. I like the bronze, silver and gold system; this will give students a sense of achievement and something to aim for. Can also be used to show progress to SLT!!! These have a variety of uses; they could be used to support learning in class or to check for understanding and test materials. Mark schemes mimic proper exam style so students can learn what markers are looking for in questions and how the marks are awarded. It follows the sections of the spec and will make lesson planning so much easier!! I am currently assisting two Early Career Teachers and two non-specialists and have been recommending your resources to them as it takes a lot of the stress out of planning a course when you're new to teaching or to the subject.
