What do teachers say about this resource? (11644)

I think this is an excellent resource which breaks down the exam content into bitesize chunks which will allow students to focus on / revise specific aspects of the specification easily. The use of images as dual coding makes the resource suitable for lower-ability pupils. The resource provides the students with the opportunity to revise independently but also allows the teacher to use this within the classroom to aid revision, self-assessment of knowledge and gaps in knowledge, but is also a starter activity. The example questions provide pupils with an insight as to how the content will be assessed in the exam. The table of contents clearly identifies what is covered in the resource and where pupils can find the information, this will make it easy to use the resource as homework or an independent starter/task in a lesson. This resource is well suited to be used both in class and by pupils independently as a revision tool, I would also use this to allow pupils to answer exam-style questions using a ‘look, cover, write, check’ process to ensure all content is covered especially for 9 mark questions. The use of images throughout aids the content and the use of dual coding will help all pupils secure their knowledge of each topic area.

Clear and easy to follow... use of pictures throughout are useful as a quick reminder to students if using these in lessons. Great to see so much at a glance and to have blank ones that students can then fill out themselves... this is great for lower ability or those that miss lessons as they would have missed this information.

Easy to read and access for students. It is easy to see protocols which in this course, students spend most of their time looking up. LOVE the adaptations for disabilities column.
