A useful resource for establishing the basics... It would work well as an ongoing homework activity, particularly for less confident students... Good, clear explanation of this particular aspect of the exam... Good use of examples and interesting activities to put the work in to practice... Good ‘hacks’ for working out key signatures.
Very good. Builds up the skills needed in a well-structured and sensible way. Good composing tasks to consolidate learning... Clear explanations and good use of visuals to help explain musical concepts. Lots of different examples... All relevant to the area of study in the specification... Would be good used almost as a scheme of work for this area of the exam that a lot of students find difficult. It builds up the difficulty gradually and introduces concepts in a structured and well thought-out way. I like the little composing tasks to consolidate learning in a practical way.
