MAGNIFICENT! Much like the 3A exam paper pack, there is simply no resource on the market like it. Wonderful attention to detail and clear, expert advice... The students are able to do the sections they need to work on and use the example question to further hone their skills... They are able to visualise how the exam should be tackled and what weighting to give each question... it superbly highlights the exam paper and shows what is expected. No resource comes close to it... A must for each student to have – simply superb and a sure-fire way to ensure excellent exam success... [Matches] Edexcel perfectly!

The breakdown of what each Assessment objective is worth is excellent and very clear to understand. Students will have no trouble in being able to apply their knowledge carefully to the Assessment Objectives. The breakdown of each question with examples is also superb - it specifically tells each student what they have to do for each question and how to approach the question. The 'marking sample answers' section is brilliant and is an excellent class task to do in order to understand what the examiners will be looking for when they mark the papers. The '30 mark extract checklist' which accompanies this task is superb and something that I will look to implement in my teaching on a regular basis... a step-by-step guide on how to complete the exam with excellent detail and very clear, specific guidance which is very relevant to the Edexcel specification and well chosen. This resource can be used in a number of ways such as revision material, peer/self-assessment, and group tasks. The educational value is huge- I would go as far as saying it is indispensable for any self-respecting Politics department and I would be shocked if other schools didn't find this useful.

I liked this resource. I thought the stidents’ introduction a good innovation, especially identifying expectations, and it was up to date eg April 2020,crucial for politics ... I particularly liked the specimen answers eg p7 with 2 examples and examiners’ comments and it was often very thorough ... It enhances learning by showing how to use content to best effect ... The educational value is to practice essay writing and shorter answer skills, which are transferable to other subjects ... It matches the spec well ... I would purchase this as there is variety in the activities eg marking sample questions, and it also has useful hints re timing and balance. Also the answers are very lucid, particularly to the mock. If we have any more times when we have to teach online, this could furthermore be a helpful resource
