The teachers introduction was informative and made wise suggestions ... It helped me help them, particularly vis-a-vis revision and use of keywords and definitions ... The text was broken up with captioned illustrations and talking points ... Buy it! It will save you a lot of time and prevent you reinventing the wheel ... it introduced all the main points in a clear order ... I also liked the boxes for new definitions eg. pg. 2 use of side-headings - and the visual hints added a touch of lightness

Will provide students and teachers with a clear insight into this part of the Global Politics course... written with clarity... Covers the course content coherently and systematically with the use of examples whilst giving a timeline of how power has changed over time but particularly since the end of the cold war.

A very well written and accessible resource which follows the Edexcel examination specification with clarity... keeps the reader focused... Gives very clear context to both the Human Rights and Environmental topic especially the area of international courts and law which, typically, are difficult for students to access. Examples are very useful and can be used as research topics for students.
