What do teachers say about this resource? (9131)
A comprehensive and workable Complete Play Guide for A Level... I especially liked that it took a much loved tale with a long list of themes, whacky characters, devices and semiotics galore and opened them up in an easy to follow journey from outset to the written exam. The musical doesn’t take itself too seriously; it is pure entertainment with human and relatable messages throughout. That is reflected in the resource... It enhances learning in that it introduces the musical with a constant focus on exam preparation and does so in a mainly practical and often quite challenging way. It handles sensitive themes and angles appropriately and is well aimed at A Level students... It is a grid for learning a whole play text with a specific target of the relevant exam questions, and as such it has a high educational value... Varied, clear and conducive to learning, remembering and revising. It is consistently addressed to the student rather than the teacher... I am generally impressed by the overall resource.
