Brilliantly useful, well resourced and pitched perfectly for this age group. The contextual info and themes are really useful and sufficiently well pitched to engage and stretch the students. The practical exercises were imaginative and engaging for the students and it is clear how they would support a student’s appreciation for this text. Particularly liked the information and guidance for the design elements... There is a lot here to equip the teacher to really stretch and challenge the students but also ensure everyone has a good level of understanding. It is well focused on the demands of the exam and would prepare them well. There is lots of well designed practical and written activities to support their learning. This matches the demands of the GCSE very well. Prepares them for acting/direction and design elements and focuses the preparation to ensure they have quality revision material.
Very useful. Well laid out and good balance of theory and practical tasks. It has detailed sections on design elements. It covers everything I need it to. Allows me to plan quickly and effectively. It really reduces workload through less planning. All the resources you need are in one place.
