- Every specification subtopic covered
- Each topic divided into tests which can be undertaken in class or as a homework activity
- The number of tests per topic allows one test to be set every fortnight over a two year course of study if using the full set of resources

The final test in each pack is an end of topic summary, covering
a range of content from across the whole topic.
Perfect for continued assessment, and progress tracking throughout the qualification. See which areas your class are strong on and which need a recap.
What do teachers say about this resource? (7258)
Useful as homeworks... Gives them an understanding of what they know and what they don’t... It breaks it down into mini topics
What do teachers say about this resource? (7252)
Excellent... it allows the students to research/reinforce learning whilst receiving validation/support/guidance via mark schemes. Widens intellect and reinforces prior learning. It's clear, accessible, and has highly original content. The students love them - high quality and supports teaching - actually enhances teaching/learning independently as well as directed.
A great resource which would be really invaluable to any Geography teacher delivering the new A Level course.... [This resource] would really help to support examination technique and the pupils with their revision. I particularly liked the good range of questions available to fully examine the wide range of content that is necessary for pupils to understand
The resource enhances learning by offering a diverse range of questions to tackle. This is further supported by the use of different figures in the form of photographs, tables and graph which gives the student wide coverage of the possible skills they may need to employ in the upcoming exams. This element focuses on Geographical skills which is crucial in order to do well in the A level exam. Thank you ZigZag! Keep up the great work. :)
A well-constructed and designed resource that follows the syllabus details closely and gives good coverage of the topic areas within the module. Questions are clear and answers are also precisely and concisely directed, with good variation in length and difficulty. The inclusion of extension material makes it useful for all abilities and groups. It will save teachers of the new syllabus considerable time.
I think these tests are very useful for students and teachers alike. They are quite straightforward, cover wide range of the content for the AS and A level exam and are versatile. In particular I the inclusion of answers and examples is invaluable for students and teachers. It allows quick and easy self-reflection and could be used in a variety of ways... The educational value of this resource is not only to provide a test of student’s knowledge but to promote independent use of these by students, self-marking and thus self-reflection
What do teachers say about this resource? (7262)
I particularly like this resource because of the diagram and figures which are used. This is very useful for exam practice... [helps for] figure interpretation and also revision ... It splits the topic up into separate sections and there isn’t a huge amount of resources out there for this topic ... good home work/remote teaching resource which makes students interact with figures
What do teachers say about this resource? (7259)
It breaks down knowledge into manageable chunks and forces them to consider specific terms and ideas they may otherwise gloss over and not fully engage with.
It can be used flexibly – in lesson tasks H/L – both have worked well with other topic versions and I plan to use some as timed in class activities and then the remainder as independent home learning tasks.
ZigZag resources are always worthwhile and complimentary to our own resources. I’ve used them for years and will continue to do so.
Very clear resource divided into tests for each section of the syllabus. The extension questions for AS + A level is a clever idea and makes it clear for students in the same class – co-teaching... Definitely worth the money and this really helps a teacher check the understanding/knowledge of students – a must-buy!
What do teachers say about this resource? (7260)
Great value for money. Helps with homework.
Excellent. Clearly set out and easy to navigate. Students benefit from the tests being divided into sections and this follows the text books nicely. Consolidates their learning and makes them focus in on the specifics of the specs
What do teachers say about this resource? (7254)
Very clear and stretches the pupils. Is has been difficult to come up with questions that have mark schemes so this resource is ideal. The pupils can easily follow the resource sheets and know how to improve. It is broken down into the different key areas of the specification and has a mixture of short and long answers... There are no other resources like this for coasts and so they can practice and improve/self-mark/peer-mark.
What do teachers say about this resource? (7256)
Excellent. Ready for photocopying without need to adapt it. Purchase it immediately [for] ease of preparation.
Very good, clear variety of command word questions with clear similarities between these questions and the specimen papers. ...We can assess students progress with a mark scheme, and more importantly it saves time for my department staff!
I like the way that it spans the entire course and is designed for continuous assessment... Rather than just use these as end of topic tests you can also create short end of lesson tests. I really like the way that the last question is synoptic and spans the entire course... This is really useful is setting up students for the high mark questions in the specification. I also really like the extension questions to challenge more able students but also that the shorter answer questions are appropriate for those less able students and help to scaffold their assessment and revision... I would certainly purchase this resource.
