Excellent resource... it aligns perfectly with the specification and has been updated to reflect the changes also. Everything in it is course specific, with no unnecessary content. The students love it as all the information is there, while also being a valuable tool to see what they know and what they can remember. They can identify gaps in their knowledge easily, and inform me, so we can revisit difficult/misunderstood topics. A valuable homework tool as they can check their own answers and don't need to use online resources either which is perfect. Also, as it is Islam, there can be variable resources online, with some being far too detailed, or on the other hand, too simple. This one is perfect.
Very clear knowledge organisers and excellent A3 sheets with questions for revision. I like that it has everything they need in one place, including sources of authority. This will be great for all students for revision, but especially so for SEN students who can clearly see the links.
I really liked that it was interactive. This makes it much more useful for me as a teacher as I need some way of checking that my students have understood the information. I liked the use of quotes which can be quite hard to find as a teacher. I liked the activity sheets best. I really liked the sheets that had different boxes on them to fill in, this means students can chunk their revision or as a teacher I can break down the activities nice and easily. It is clear that this resource has been written to meet the specification. There is clear use of key words and references to sources of authority. I think it is an excellent match. This resource is fantastic as sometimes the resources are just blocks of writing. The author has taken the time to produce activity sheets and interactive resources. It's pleasing to see a resource that meets the needs of a busy teacher.

An excellent resource… Well laid out and very detailed… Makes good reference to scripture and different beliefs… The level of detail makes it very good as a revision pack… Highly useful resource with a variety of ways that it could be used… Meets the needs of the specification… Could be used for students of all abilities, however, it would particularly benefit higher ability students… They would make excellent topic maps to put on student's tables… Good range of activities and questions.
I really liked this resource. I think it would prove very useful with my Year 11 group when revising and recapping on work we have learned in class in more detail. I think that it is well presented and extremely clear with some nice accessible tasks... it makes the huge amount of facts that a GCSE student has to learn for this specification somehow look more manageable... I would use this resource as a revision tool for use after I had taught the topic in class... Learners will be able to test themselves with the short answer questions. It would also be beneficial for a non-specialist or someone who has very limited time in which to teach the whole course because of timetabling restraints.
