Excellent level of detail - good use of visuals. It is produced with teachers in mind and is 'pick up and go'.
Perfect for both lessons and revision - clear structure and it contains everything pupils are required to know. It has clear structure and key terms. It gives helpful hints to pupils and saves me a lot of time making my own revision guide!
Accessible to all ability levels... Teachers can use this flexibly depending on what licence they purchased. For example they could purchase the Word documents and then edit the information as needed. This might be used in situations where some differentiation is needed for some students, either to add in small sections, or re format size to help some students with disabilities. This gives the resource a big advantage over text books...
I found these resources detailed, relevant to the AQA new specification and great. I particularly liked how the material was linked to the AQA assessment criteria, and although very detailed it is pupil friendly, religiously literate and in my view a fantastic ‘must have’ for any RE department teaching the AQA specification. I hope a similar one can be made for the OCR course!

I think this is a very high quality resource. I would highly recommend it if you haven't taught this area before and would be invaluable to non-specialists... It would be really valuable for a NQT and I would encourage HoD's to buy them to help out NQT's or non-specialists in their department. I also really appreciate the answers at the end as this can save valuable time
The resource is informative and uses GCSE questions for pupils to answer and has the mark schemes available for them to self-assess. Good literacy support with the use of a glossary of key terms. It is informative and covers a lot of the main points in which the language of how to present philosophical arguments has been considered in the way it has been written. Scripture quotes and references are evident throughout the document and reference to the main philosophers are on the whole included. Images have been provided to give a visual learners a better understanding. There are some good pause for thoughts and I like the idea of activities to develop the learner.

Perfect resource - I have used ZigZag a few times and I am never disappointed. It has the perfect level of detail and is exam specific, unlike all the other revision guides. I would highly recommend it as it gives you everything you need for both lessons and revision. It can be accessed by lower and higher ability students and gives you the opportunity to set homework questions that pupils can then mark
I specifically liked the detail that each section goes into. I liked how it links to questions and also biblical quotes and how it is generally presented. This would enhance any new scheme of work, would work brilliantly as extension material, cover material and homework material – an all ‘rounder’ in my view... I would be comfortable using it in a variety of ways within and outside of the classroom. Well done.
A really good quality resource, very useful for a new teacher of this unit or someone looking to enhance their understanding or spice up their resources. Really useful assessment material with answers and some great quotes that would save teachers a great deal of time. A very useful guide.
The resource provides detail on each section of the specification for Theme B and is as detailed as any of the example texts books from other publishers. The written language is appropriate for GCSE level and would be accessible by the majority of students in a mixed ability class [...] This enhances learning or helps learning as this could be used in different ways throughout the year [...] Information is set out clearly in short sections with the information broken up by using different headings. This makes it clear for students to read.

Plenty of good detail and, essentially, a clear out line of how to answer the exam questions to a good level. Key words are well defined and succinct... the writer(s) have taken great care to make the text pupil friendly in that its is easily readable... This resource will be well received by teachers at a loss on what exactly to include in their lessons, the use of this resource in addition to their own lesson planning and the inclusion of engaging tasks should allow the teacher to be confident they have covered all the necessary areas
What do teachers say about this resource? (8134, 8135)
The resource covers the topics of Mark’s gospel to a good standard. Glossaries are used which is helpful to ensure the pupils are literate within the subject area. Quotes have been used and there are exam questions at the end of the section which is what is required for helping pupils to succeed in their exam. There use of titles and subtitles make it easy to read and demonstrates a well-structured resource.
