Having taught specification A... this resource gets the balance between diagrams, data, definitions and detail about right.

Punchy no-nonsense layout... compact notes, useful examiner tips and clear diagrams... The key terms, the bullet point style of writing and the tabular nature of much of the content is good... It will aid recall of information. Some of the simple activities would provide useful starter/ plenary exercises. It will certainly aid revision.
One of the better revision guides I have seen for Theme 3. It covered the specification in its entirety and I like that even though its relatively succinct it has the key words, exam hints and question practise with answers... I like the break-down of the graphs and how they build up the graph step by step. My students find the diagrams in this unit the hardest in all the GCE. I like the suggestions of further reading and real life examples like Enron on page 4... my students find the textbooks hard going ... whereas this resource is a manageable size and provides a great starting point for revision. I like the in a nutshell section so my students can quickly see if they are looking at the right section of the syllabus they wish at that point to focus on. The key words and checklist just top each section off and make the resource really useful and interactive.

The punchy no-nonsense approach is helpful... key definitions throughout is helpful... It interestingly presents lots of information... I like the nutshell point at the start of sections.
It is an excellent resource as it focuses specifically on the revision side of the Theme. It is comprehensive in the coverage of the specification and offers students lots of opportunities to develop their revision in a positive manner... I particularly like the student’s checklist which gives them very clear outlines of areas where they need to focus. I like the use of boxes to show important definitions and calculations. The use of bullet points also makes it easier to read and more accessible for revision. I also like the fact I can use it in class to home in on specific areas and use the questions provided to check learning... it breaks down some big topics which can be quite intimidating for students into much more manageable chunks. This resource will also be good to develop the exam technique of students in terms of using the key definitions and diagrams for practice. For the more able students the 'take it further' section will allow them to be stretched... As a revision source, I like the use of bullet points to allow the text to be read easier. I also like the consistent format used for each section, everything can be found easily... Each section is as the Edexcel specification outlines and the depth of information is very suitable to the requirements expected from Edexcel. The questions asked are also like the type of questions that will be asked to do in their official exam... This resource is tailored made for me to use as a resource within class to test the students’ knowledge on specific topics but also for students to use outside the classroom to reinforce their learning and give them clear guidance on what they need to revise.

I liked the chapter topic element self review for students... I really liked the clear graphs and boxed representations of various elasticity numerical values and explanations of each. Very clear for a challenging topic for most students.
