A very worthwhile resource... I particularly liked the emphasis on essays... The material would enhance learning... Its educational value lies in its emphasis on change and continuity and explaining, as well as improving skills of source analysis... It interprets the specification sensibly, giving each unit equal space, and following a chronological approach... The detail of some answers would allow for marking to push the more able...
I quite liked this resource... The teacher’s introduction was clear... Questions were also varied e.g. list/explain/what/why... I particularly liked the use of illustrations... The self assessment sheet was a good idea... It enhances learning by consolidating the students’ knowledge an could also be used as an analytical tool during the course as well as for revision at the end. Its educational value would be to provide reassurance, particularly to weaker pupils, by breaking down a large syllabus into more manageable sections... The layout/presentation is clear... The resource matches the specification well following an appropriate chronological approach.
An important addition to the material available for this module, which is hugely popular... Pretty comprehensive and thorough... It really will help the teacher because it is great for homework and also has a superb set of thorough answers... It follows the spec very carefully.
A high quality resource, with tests that reflect the syllabus... It is comprehensive and thorough and clearly produced by a committed and passionate teacher. It understands that this syllabus requires getting to grips with five historical periods and within that how the law was enforced and what punishments were used... It is so rigorous... Excellent indication of historical skills such as change and continuity... [This resource] is original and has a different approach which will help to teach the course rigorously and effectively. Hugely valuable new resource that comes highly recommended.
Will support short-term memory retrieval

I really liked this resource. It is well designed, very pupil friendly. It covers the entire spec with all relevant knowledge The questions are accessible but bring out the key knowledge required by students. All key examples and case studies are included and the answer sheets are really helpful... this is my favourite ZigZag Education resource I have seen so far.
Students can test themselves at the end of each relevant topic area in precise knowledge based detail. The questions become progressively harder which allows for every child to be successful with the early questions. The mark schemes are detailed and clear... This is an essential resource for the new exam.
The resource is broadly chronological in nature and takes you on a journey throughout this time period. The author clearly knows what needs to be included in this time period. The whole specification is dealt with and with a good range of tasks.
I like it. The layout was interesting and the sections were helpful in breaking down large amounts of information. The variation in layouts of the questions makes this a more stimulating resource. Breaking the tests into clear specification sections makes it manageable and less daunting for students, as well as allowing them to focus on particular weak points, or identify those points easily.
