This is genius! I am overwhelmed by the enormous scope for usage of this resource. Overwhelmed. I also like the fact that most sheets are in 'worksheet' style and can be used individually and out of context. A William-Jones, Head of Expressive Arts & Independent Reviewer
Particularly suitable for students who have had no formal music instruction, or whose theory skills lag behind their playing abilities.
Excellent resource! Outstanding! Supports basic knowledge and understanding at KS4. V James, Music Teacher & Independent Reviewer
What do teachers say about this resource? (6024)
A wonderful surprise as there has been the need to join the Key Stage 3 learning with GCSE effectively for some time. This resource more than does this. There is a substantial amount of information which is all very helpful. Many topics are covered thoroughly with clarity, and a variety of exercises to consolidate learning. Teachers can either dip into various sections, or go through the whole resource in detail... The bullet points, tables, activitIes and diagrams makes the resource a pleasure to read. There are questions and homeworks to exercise the accumulating knowledge. The definitions are well worded and clear. Topics such as chords, harmony and rhythm are displayed well, and there are exercises in composition which will aid both theoretical knowledge, and the GCSE composition requirements... The educational content of this resource is highly valuable and accessible and enhances learning effectively... The resource goes above and beyond to ensure students have the best possible chance of musical grounding and understanding.
