I liked it... It was very thorough and covered all aspects of the specification... User friendly. A great revision tool... It can be used during the course to assess progress as well as at the end. Questions were searching but not too complicated. It should give [students] confidence as they gradually achieve higher grades and it will save me a lot of time! It focuses on one aspect of the learning process rather than being a jack of all trades.
This is a good resource that is useful for students who might otherwise fail to grasp some of the key concepts or read around the course. By setting these grids as homework, a teacher can be assured that the basic knowledge required has been gained.
This resource is clearly set out and it is clear without instructions what is required from the student. The topics from each grid are appropriate and could be easily placed in a scheme of work for the planning of homework. The resource links well to the key themes of the specification that students are required to understand and evaluate. The resource would be good for an introduction or consolidation of the key facts included within the specification.
On the whole I was impressed by this resource.It tied in well with the teaching pack and had a useful teacher’s introduction.It also had the answers totally separate from the questions which makes it more user friendly.
I particularly liked the way it stayed faithful to the layout of the specification rather than appearing,as some resources do,to be cobbled together to fit all boards
It enhances learning by dividing the specification into manageable chunks,so even the weaker students can feel a sense of achievement as they complete sections successfully. Its educational value is manifold-as a revision tool, but also as an indicator of progress/weak points during the course.

On the whole I liked this resource. It does what it says on the label and the teacher’s introduction was clear, suggesting a variety of ways of using it. I particularly liked the use of boxes eg grid 4 and pictures eg grid 5. It would also be helpful for the IGCSE unit which has no textbook so partially fills a gap. It enhances learning by providing useful consolidation of content. Its educational value is also that it could be used as a diagnostic tool to measure progress and reassure pupils that they have grasped key material/concepts. It matches the spec very well.
