What do teachers say about this resource? (4378)
I liked the resource. A good variety of activities and it covers the idea of coaching, officiating and performing... fully supporting the variety of roles which we want to promote in PE as pathways into sport, including health and fitness. It provides excellent starting information for the BTEC course which students traditionally find difficult, due to the up-skilling and use of specified vocabulary.
This resource is excellent, working in a school with high number of EAL students, this resource will be used in many lessons, and students learning will embedded with the development of literacy skills.
Easy for everyone to use... Very useful to be able to leave for cover work.
It uses a lot of relevant literacy skills, and cross-curricular skills in general, bringing the information together and making the work more meaningful. The tasks are fun and so remove barriers that may be present for an SEN student when doing a normal piece of literacy work.
Useful and ready made resource to incorporate into the curriculum or for non-participants.
It's a good resource really points out the benefits and support that the resources can give to creating and reinforcing learning. It will save teachers time, but also encourage them to think of other resources they could create with an idea implanted within.
Although the resource is aimed at KS3 the booklet could support work in KS4 for weaker learners...Good range of sports and a variety of activities for the learner.
This resource is fantastic to be used for cover lessons when a teacher is absent, there is lots of detail with a variety of different sports being covered.
