An excellent, time saving resource... Covers all of the necessary areas from the specification to prepare any candidate to undertake a practical production effectively and successfully... comprehensive with useful lesson plans and excellent templates for a variety of pre-production tasks... The lesson plan ideas provided are effective with a good range of tasks for both group/paired and individual tasks and the resource materials are appropriately formatted for this level of candidate... ... more comprehensive and cost effective than [other resources I have seen]... I would be confident that any of my students could effectively complete this mandatory unit by using the templates provided and would happily use these resources for more able candidates on the Level 2 course too! This resource is outstanding. I am inclined to think this has been put together by someone who used to be in the Film Industry! It is so clear and easy to follow with lots of wonderful tasks and templates contained within. There are useful weblinks which really help support the resource pack... It gives students a real 'eye' into the Production Industry and shows them how to follow industry practice... I really liked the way it has been put together. It follows the pre-production process from the start and clearly demonstrates who is involved, what job they do and how they do it... I cannot fault this resource. Even I learnt loads! It is so thorough and informative... What a fabulous Guide!

Good overview/introduction... There were useful templates and examples of paperwork... Useful for students to see/use templates for application to own portfolios.
