Good quality and accessible for pupils. Always useful to have worksheets even if you wish to customise them slightly... The products used for the analysis are unusual and interesting so provide mixed and varied responses.
The clarity and presentation of the worksheets are particularly successful and can be adapted to group work activities as well as individual work.
Well structured series of tasks for students to follow. Clear concise instructions. I like the final extension task where students have to decide on specification points retrospectively for a given product.
Promotes creative thought and discussion on design ideas... Could be used as a stand alone activity or as an introductory activity for a D&M activity using Alessi as a starting point.
