The clear outline of what is expected to achieve a particular level helps pupils to achieve their target level... Consistent, rigorous and pupil-centered approach to assessment that will enable progression... These materials are very much for use on a day-to-day basis and are intended to become part of a pupil's regular experience of assessment in History.

What do teachers say about this resource? (2312)

This resource is based well on the principles of some of the Assessment for Learning criteria.... Very good enquiry/assessment questions and tasks. The variety of tasks could easily span the whole of Key Stage 3 History and includes the key elements of change, causation and interpretation. The author has attempted to break the assessment criteria into manageable levels of response based strongly on the History assessment levels.
