What do teachers say about this resource? (12667, 12668)

This is an important resource that fills a massive gap in the A-level curriculum. Often, skills are mentioned within the specification but there are limited resources that cover the breadth and depth of skills at the level they are required. This is a seriously important resource that makes the implicit, explicit and saves hours of work.
There is major educational value in the resource. Creating or collating these resources from scratch would take significant time. These have the ability to enhance learning in a profoundly accurate way. The resource is set out clearly into sections with a range of activities that help scaffold learning. There are a wide enough range of examples that they could be woven throughout the curriculum, or taught before key points; NEA, mocks etc.

I thought this was an impressive and comprehensive resource covering every possible skill needed for AQA A Level Geography. It is the type of resource I have been looking for to aid students (and myself) to develop their geographical skills and not found such a detailed and helpful resource anywhere.
I particularly liked the range of worksheets for every skill that included not just the answers but how to level student response (level 1 or 2) and how to give marks.
The mind-maps are clear and detailed and I liked that they are black and white so students could colour code if they wanted to. This is particularly important for any colour-blind students (who I have in my classes). It is great there is so much primary data on a range of geographic topics for students to use to practice the different skills. This data is often hard and time consuming for teachers to source, so it is fantastic it is included in this resource.
Learning is enhanced with this resource as it gives clear explanations of each skill and in what situation that skill would be used for, e.g. When to use Chi-squared / when proportional circles will be useful. It clearly outlines how to calculate and manipulate primary data to allow thorough analysis and evaluation.
The presentation was clear and well laid out. I liked that the presentation was simple and 'clean'and not over complicated/fussy.
This resource is excellent.
