What do teachers say about this resource? (12220)

On the whole, I enjoyed it. I felt it was focused on Q10 and I liked the mix of exam-style and class activity style exercises. I like that the layout is straightforward and reduces cognitive load. I like that Section B is laid out like an exam, even down to the font, which will ready students for the papers they will sit. Section B is outstanding.

Good range of activities and plenty of things to do. I like the exercises in Section A: clear cut and simple. Practises what they need to know, by showing the obvious. It takes them through lots of practice material for the question.

On the whole, I thought this an excellent unit, which could be used both in the classroom situation and tutoring, online or in person. Students in my experience find this part of the course more difficult, so any additional help is welcome. It enhances learning by making a complicated topic more user friendly. The page references and teacher’s introduction were particularly valuable and the thoroughness of the coverage. It matches the specification very well.
