On the whole I thought this was an excellent resource. Also the questions were varied eg
consolidate, source, practice, comprehension and analysis. It kept well to the specification and added a variety of additional material from the very start. I particularly liked the learning objectives, which will be useful for teachers with lesson plans to write for observations. It enhances learning by giving students confidence, with the same format for each topic providing consistency. The answers also had educational value, being separate, but very useful for mocks/revision. Abler pupils could also be stretched with research questions. I would definitely purchase this especially given the scarcity of revision material for this topic.
This is a high quality resource that I would be happy to purchase for use in my teaching. Overall this is a good fit for the specification. I like the range of extra sources, in addition to the prescribed sources. It is always helpful to have extra source analysis questions to hand, and extra sources that I may not have seen before. I feel it matches and interprets the specification very well. It understands the types of questions students will be asked, the sources prescribed from OCR and the need to study sources outside of the specification.
