What do teachers say about this resource? (11885)
This resource is entirely suitable for the specification – all the ground is covered thoroughly and the examples set are all at the right level... There are a wide range of tasks and catering for a range of abilities... The writing is clear and of good quality. It would be easily understood by the students for which it is written... I am very confident of the author’s knowledge of music and of the specification... A well presented, interesting and useful resource.
Very detailed resource that gradually builds up the theoretical knowledge.
A good way to introduce theory to new GCSE students but also allows those more advanced students to stretch their learning.
The writing of things like intervals is not a skill that is needed for this specification, but it is a skill that leads onto the aural recognition which is needed. It is a good springboard for more advanced students/those looking at doing A Level.
My student need as many aural examples as possible.
I like the clarity of the layout and the easily accessible navigation through each section... I think the section that talks about contour is brilliant; I can see this being very inspiring for teachers and pupils alike... Useful as a go to for cover lessons.
