What do teachers say about this resource? (3910)
An excellent resource that focuses on many of the key false friends that my pupils frequently get wrong. Good suggestions of games to help you use the cards effectively in lessons and translation practice worksheets included as follow up.
I particularly like this resource because the flashcards at the back were particularly good for students. It reinforces false friends that they may struggle with in the exam. It is better than other resources because it’s a great independently learning + homework resource. That it is a great transition resource specifically for those GCSE into A-level who are struggling with the step.
This allows students to gain an understanding of the pitfalls of the LRW papers at AS and A2 regarding false friends. It also provides excellent opportunities to develop translation techniques and to improve vocabulary.
