The resource is very well produced and has constructed very useful set of papers that most GCSE teachers would be able to use without needing to adjust. It would be very helpful to my team. The questions are well-written and include variety that would stretch and challenge, at the same time as being accessible. The mark schemes are detailed but also clearly summarised to facilitate efficient marking. The exam board does not have an extensive bank of past questions and they are often very unpredictable at GCSE. It is very helpful to have subject experts providing a bank of practice questions so students can try to improve independently.
I think this is an excellent resource. Some really lovely and thought-provoking questions which set students well to prepare for live examinations.

A comprehensive set of practice exam questions that covers a lot of different set text areas.
Will benefit the teachers and students that use it in preparation for the exams, or to consolidate learning. A range of set products have been assessed in the practice papers, covering all of the genres and forms (film posters, lifestyle magazines, newspapers, advertising posters, gaming, radio drama). This resource meets the specification well - the practice exam questions follow the same style as the Eduqas exams, which will benefit the students and teachers using them. The resource not only allows for teachers to assess their students using the detailed indicative content, but allows students to get used to the wording and formatting of exam questions too. The indicative content is detailed and in-line with the guidance from Eduqas for teaching and assessment.
Very useful… gives teachers and students a good understanding of the range of questions that might be used in the exams… I liked the range of unseen texts that were used and the variety of questions. I also think the indicative content is very valuable for teachers and staff as it reinforces student's learning and can help to guide them in how to structure their answers. I think the exam tips are also important and the mark schemes, as students can see how marks are awarded and start to understand that they also need to ensure their explanation and analysis is presented clearly, rather than just learning and repeating facts about the texts… [This resource] would save a lot of planning time and can be easily used for assessment points and homework.
Absolutely brilliant! A life saver! It makes setting exams for mocks much easier. There are no other papers (other than the SAMS) for students to tackle. It gives them realistic ideas of what is expected in the exams. I have been using ZigZag for years, and have never been let down. Easy to use and time saving. Very thankful for this resource.
I though this was a very useful resource as it prompted to me think of different question areas than some I have covered. It would be good to use with students to show them how they can answer any question if they know their text well enough. This resource would encourage candidates to learn their texts well rather than focusing on preparing for specific questions. It also gives them plenty of ideas of how to deal with their texts. Presentation and layout is clear as it reflects that of the actual examination paper. The choice of unseen texts was very useful and would provide ideal texts for comparison. This type of resource is very useful as it is extremely difficult for teachers to come up with suitable questions and unseen texts.
