What do teachers say about this resource? (12786)
Overall, I really liked the FO93 on mental health. Thought it was relevant to the assignment and teaching of the unit. It was clear for both experienced and less experienced teachers. I think it would be useful if there was a new teacher or cover, as it could be used to teach effectively.
I like the words in bold, and the case studies were relevant to the assignment. What I liked was the applied activities—they could be used in lesson planning. I also liked that even though it is not an exam unit, the recall testing gives students the ability to answer recall questions and practice for their exams in other units.
I think it will enhance learning as it enables teaching to be clear, relate to the assignments, and help students understand. Teaching FO91 beforehand will support the unit, as you can refer back to it.
It was very educational and gave links to websites, which is always important as it applies context to the learning. It matches the specification very accurately by presenting tasks with good content and applied learning throughout.
It helps students understand the content, and it’s relevant and up to date. The legislation is written very well—I like that it is factual and then mentions "The overall goal," which helps students understand it in better detail than the previous specification.
I thought it was really good and would be useful for teachers and students.
